DAY 2 ACCRA CITY TOUR & SIGHTSEEING

- Visit Kwame NkrumahMausoleum, WEB Du Bois Centre, Makola Market, drive through Old Accra – Jamestown (British Accra) & Dutch Accra. Drive around the Independence Arch, Black Star Square and shop at the Arts and Craft Market.

DAY 3 ACCRA – AKOSOMBO & TRADITIONAL BEADS
- Breakfast and hotel checkout
- Depart Accra to Akosombo
- Visit Beads factoryto participate in the intriguing bead making process.
- Join a boat cruiseon the Volta River to the hydro plant site (Akosombo Dam).

DAY 4 AKOSOMBO – ASANTE KINGDOM TOUR
- Breakfast and hotel checkout
- Depart to Kumasiwith a stop at a Cocoa community village
- Meet the Chiefand elders and get the opportunity to interact and see traditional cultural performance and learn the traditions and customs of the people.

DAY 5 KUMASI CITY TOUR AND CRAFTS VILLGES TOUR

- Go on a city tour of Kumasi visiting the ManhyiaPalace and the Palace Museum.
- See the National Cultural Centre, Prempeh II Jubilee Museum, the Okomfo Anokye Sword and the Kumasi Central Market – the largest open-air market in West Africa.
- Also visit some of the Ashanti Craft villages– Bonwire/Adawomase (Kente Weaving), Ntonsu (Adinkra Village), Ahwiaa (Wood carving Village).

DAY 6 ASHANTI – ELMINA & ASSIN MANSO SLAVE RIVER & MARKET
- Breakfast and hotel checkout
- Depart Kumasi to Elmina with a stop at Assin Manso
- Visit the DONKO NSUO (the slave river) where the African captives were allowed to take their last bath in waters of their native land before transported to the slave dungeonsfor shipment to the Americas and Caribbean
- See also the burial site of the remains of two ancestors and a third exhumed from New York’s Wall Street & Kingston Jamaica and re-interred on the Emancipation Day The third ancestor was also brought and interred by the Prime Minister of Barbados in November 2019 as part of the “YEAR OF RETURN” GHANA 2019.

DAY 7 RAINFORESTS AND UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITES

- Visit the Kakum National Parkand go on a hike in the forest to experience the canopy walkway suspended 100ft from the forest ground.
- Continue to visit the Cape Coast Castlea UNESCO Heritage Site which was originally started by the Swedes in 1652 for a comprehensive guided tour of the Castle, the slave dungeons and the West African Heritage Museum, and the negotiation hall where our ancestors were bargained for and sold.

DAY 8 ELMINA CASTLE TOUR & NAMING CEREMONY
- Breakfast
- Visit the Elmina Castlea UNESCO Heritage Site. The first and oldest European structure built of any substance on African soil; built by the Portuguese in 1482. Go on a comprehensive guided tour of the castle and see the slave dungeons and condemn cells where enslaved Africans who attempted to escape were incarcerated.
- Participate in a traditional Ghanaian naming ceremonywhere participants will be given Ghanaian names with attributes. Meet and interact with the locals.

DAY 9 ELMINA – ACCRA TOUR
