Breakfast Full day Accra City Tour. National Museum of History and Ethnography, WEB Du Bois Centre, drive through Makola Market and Old Accra – Jamestown (British Accra) & Dutch Accra. Visit the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, third burial grounds form th first president of Ghana. Drive around the Independence Arch, Black Star Square and shop at the Arts and Craft Market. Breakfast and hotel check out. Depart after breakfast for Wli in the Volta Region. Arrive and Put on your trekking shoes and enjoy a walk through a dense tropical forest, cross the meandering Agumatse River at 11 places before you arrive at the waterfall. Your last stop will be a visit to Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary where the endangered but playful True Mona Monkeys are considered sacred and are therefore protected. Arrive in Amedzofe and visit Mountain Gemi, the second highest mountain in Ghana with a 12 feet iron cross at its hermit planted in the 1880s by German missionaries in addition to other historical German architectural sites and one of the most beautiful but undiscovered waterfalls in the country. Join the local folks and international visitors to celebrate Akwasidae, the Asante cultural festival which occurs in every 42days and falls on Sundays. On this day, the Asantehene (King of Ashanti) sits in State to meets his chiefs in which the general public is invited in the Manhyia Palace. The chiefs and other royals and invited guests pay Homage to His Royal Majesty the King of Asante Evening: Visit a typical Kumasi family house for interaction and to share their evening meal.
